People respond in different ways after taking a homeopathic remedy. You may experience a surge of well-being or you may feel tired and feel you need to rest for a day or two.

Homeopathy works on the principle that like cures like. So, for example, coffee in homeopathic remedy form will ease sleeplessness; bee-sting as a homeopathic remedy will ease a red rash; tobacco in a homeopathic form will ease the craving for cigarettes.

What happens when you first visit a homeopath?

The homeopath will ask you a number of questions to understand you and so they can match remedies to you. They will want to know about any complaints and how you experience them, your general levels of energy, your past medical history and the way you live. Anything that is typical of you will help the homeopath.

You will be sent the remedies a few days later. The costs of the remedies are included in the fee.


When taking remedies:
Please avoid eating, drinking and cleaning your teeth for half an hour before and after taking remedies. Please also avoid Vicks Vapour Rub, Olbas Oil, peppermints and peppermint tea while you are receiving a course of homeopathic remedies.
